I do not typically read historical novels but my boyfriend had recently convinced me to read the Last Kingdom.
I was honestly blown away with how consuming this series is. Uhtred continues to amaze and make me laugh like no other character I have ever discovered.
I love this series so much that I went down to the public library 5 months before the Pagan Lord was released just to ensure that I would be the first person they called when it finally came.
Thank you for Uhtred and this entire series, I am hooked.
