I just finished reading an interview you gave in 1997. You were asked about the lack of enthusiasm American readers have for your Sharpe series. I had to write a quick note to say there is a devoted fan of all of your books on the coast of North Carolina. Thank you for being so prolific, It allowed you to trade your Jeep for a Land Rover, paid your mortgage, and has given millions of readers wonderful entertainment…just the right amount of intrigue, and absolutely no stress.
