I have been reading your books since around 1997 when I worked for the King’s Division Normandy Band who were invited to London by Harper Collins to play at a book launch for Sharpe’s Tiger. I didn’t get to go but the band brought me back a copy and I was hooked. I bought every Sharpe book and then moved onto the Warlord Chronicles then Uhtred and Thomas of Hookton, as well as any other books you had written. I have recently finished Pagan Lord and really just wanted to thank you for all the pleasure you have given me over the years reading your books. I simply love them and cannot tell how happy it makes me when I know there is a new book out. I know Uhtred can’t live forever but those final words you have at the end ‘but that is another story’ keep the excitement going for the next book.
