I recommend this beautifully-written and exciting novel about a young couple who find themselves serving on opposite sides during the Irish War of Independence 1919-1921. Hard choices must be made between love and loyalty with a host of other memorable characters both good and bad to keep the action going. I enjoyed it immensely.
