Dear Mr. Conwell, I’m a huge fan from Brazil, and i just finished “The Burning Land” from “The Saxon Stories” and i had to come here and say: Thank You. The way you sir describe the battles, the society, and how the saxon people used to think about romans is completely awesome. And the shield wall… it’s like i was there, fighting side by side with Uhtred. And talking about him, this is one of the most beautiful things the Saxon Stories brought to me. I feel like i know Uhtred for real. There is a great connection between reader and character, and that is what make me more and more excited for the next book. Where will Uhtred be? Will he have more lands? More men? A new wife? What waits for him? Haha, it’s amazing to think about it. I can’t wait for the next book and what you have prepared for us. Ah, and just for curiosity, the brazilian book’s cover complete the last one, just like a mosaic. It’s a pretty piece of creativity. Well, thanks again Mr. Cornwell, and happy holidays. Danilo. wyrd bið ful aræd.
