Hello Mr. Cornwell, I just happened to see The Burning Land in the bookstore today and couldn’t have been more thrilled! I’ve been eagerly awaiting the next Saxon novel for nearly a year. Also, I immediately thought of Uhtred when I saw this recent news item (and wondered if he was responsible): Beheaded Vikings Found at Olympics Site “51 bodies were unearthed near the site of the 2012 London Olympics “On Friday, scientists announce the men were Vikings from the Dark Ages “The men, who were beheaded, were found near the Olympic sailing venue “Carbon dating place the men in the time period from A.D. 890 to 1030 Gotta love it when history, literature, and headlines come together this way :) Regards, Brian Hurrel
