I just wanted to tell you how much I have enjoyed reading your books! I purchased my first of your books over the summer at a yard sale (sorry) it was an advance reader’s addition. It sat on my bookshelf for several months, I was tempted several times to start reading it but I have never been an avid reader, so there it sat. Then winter came and where I live once it starts it seems to last forever. I started the book The Last Kingdom, must have been the week of Christmas. WOW!! I have never been so glued to a book before, I read it in less than a week, it would have been quicker but I do have to go to work everyday. I have since found myself addicted. I purchased the next three books in the series and suspensefully tore through them. I finished Sword Song three weeks before The Burning Land was released so I had to move on I just couldn’t stop reading your work I love it. So while I waited I read Agincourt, which I also enjoyed greatly.. I purchased The Burning Land two days after it was released in my area, and I was disappointed in myself that I couldn’t control my urge to tear through it, I found myself reading a paragraph here and there when no one was looking at work, and reading no stop when I was home. To my disappointment I finished the book in only a few days and now I have to wait, it was wonderful. I was like a child on Christmas morning, waiting for the book to arrive at my local bookstore. Well now that I have to wait until 2011 for the next in the series I am already on book 2 of the Grail Quest series, and I have 4 more titles of yours waiting, there would be more but I decided the bookstore wasn’t that far away and I could get the rest later. I just hope this year passes quickly because 2011 seems so far away right now. I love the Saxon Tales and I can’t wait for the next edition. Keep up the good work! Leia Paddleford
