Dear mister Cornwell, For my studies I have specialized in literary translation (I am french, so I translate books from English to French). For my memoir, I chose “Sword Song” (I asked your editor for permission). I handed the work today. So now I take a little time to thank you for writing such a great book. I cannot say it was easy to translate but it was a pleasure to work on. I fell in love with Uhtred (and Erik too), with the story, with the way you write… For all these reasons, my work didn’t turn into a chore. I really enjoyed this year of my studies and it is, for the main part, thanks to you. So thank you, thank you very much. It is for books like yours that I want to translate books. (And, please, keep the Saxon Stories coming, I can’t wait for the next one). Alice Arslanagic
