Dear Mr. Cornwell. I am a avid reader of your works and have just finished Sword Song. I could not help but feel this was the last of Lord Uhtred and if that is true, will miss him. Indeed, I have enjoyed reading of him and the others who you placed by his side these past several years. I literally, could not stop reading each of the three books. Please accept this as a most sincere compliment. If there was some way that you could extend his story–maybe through passing the sword onto his son, I would, along with many other readers be grateful. Once again, accept this note as a sincere thank you for all the hours I have spent in 9th century England. Sincerely, Bob Freedman
