I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how much I have enjoyed your books through the years. I’m a professor who leads tours to Ireland during the summer, and I first stumbled upon one of your Sharpe books at Kenny’s Bookstore in Galway in the early 1990s. I was hooked from the first page. I have since collected every book of yours I could find and I think I have read all of them. I look forward to each new book and I’m anxious to purchase “Sword Song.” While I have enjoyed all of your books, my favorite series are the Saxon Chronicles and the Arthur books. I especially enjoyed your unorthodox portrayal of Lancelot, making him a much more interesting character. I introduced my son McKenzie and my nephew Ted to your books and they’ve both become avid fans. I realize I’ve rambled on here, but I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the many, many hours of reading pleasure you have given me through the years. For me, there is no greater reading anticipation than cracking open a new Cornwell book. Thank you!
