Mr. Cornwell,

I enjoy reading and listening to your books.  I teach a law course on Jury Instructions and the Trial Process.  The first session discusses the historical antecedents of the jury trial we know in the US.  Since our jurisprudence has its roots in English history, I try to describe the evolution of the trial process during and from the various ordeals in the Saxon time to the introduction of the inquisition by William I.  My question is whether any of your books includes an ordeal (by fire, water, hot iron, hated morsel, etc.), other than the ordeal by bitter water in Sword Song.  Again, thank you for your books.
