Dear Mr Cornwell, I just finished The Burning Land. Couldn’t put it down. I went to sixth form college in Thundersley (SEEVIC college). Is the standing stone still erm, standing? And is it easy to find? Is this the same stone mentioned briefly by Aelle in the Arthur Chronicles? Thanks for another great book. I don’t suppose you fancy giving my childhood village Bradwell-on-Sea a mention in the next Saxon Book? It would be good for it to be known for something other than the nuclear power station! I think the Saxon name was Ithanchester and you probably its where St Cedd evangelised Essex from by founding the old chapel . Obviously if this infringes on your story suggestion rules, please happily ignore. Good luck with the next book and keep ’em coming! Pete
