Mr. Cornwell, Just finished “The Pale Horseman”. One very minor nit to pick. At one point in the book you have someone grinding corn. Unless the English corn is different from the kernel on an ear surrounded by a husk we know in the US – corn was originated by the Mexicans and wouldn’t have reached Europe until the 16th century or thereabouts. A former Marine, I’ve read and enjoyed all the Sharpe books and many of your others and liked them all with the exception of the mysticism in “Stonehenge” Reply not required. Thanks for a good read.
