My son turned me on to the Saxon Tales series, and I devoured the first 2, listening on Audible.com Johathan Keeble’s narration is incredible and so perfect for this series. That’s why I was incredibly disappointed with the replacement who narrated Sword Song. I’m just into chapter 2, and trying to let the story carry me along, but it’s hard to lose myself in it as I did the first two, because the voice, which sounds like a young, and not terribly intimidating man, is no match for Keeble’s gruff portrayal of Uhtred the old warrior telling the tale of the battles of his youth.
