Dear Mr Cornwell –
A few weeks ago I watched the BBC series The Last Kingdom. I have never read one of your books even though I was a school librarian. For this I must apologise. I was hooked when I watched the series and I bought the first book in the series and just carried on reading and have now just finished Sword Song. I went to Waterstones Bookshop today and bought the next three after Sword Song. They are mesmerising, so well written and so so exciting. Your characters are so perfectly written I see every one in my imagination.
I just wanted to thank you for such a fabulous series of books. My husband, I think, is enjoying the quiet!!
