I've just finished this second installment chronicling the life of Julius Caesar. You simply have to read it. Not only is Caesar's life fascinating in its own right, but Conn Iggulden has managed to make every chapter - no every page of this tale, into a nailbiting, intriguing, page-turning adventure. You really have to admit that an author has managed to hook you when you're sacrificing sleep five nights out of seven just to see what the next chapter will bring!
