This is a gripping account of the war of 1812 and the battles that raged in the far west and North. It's a story of the war that was raged in the far wilds of America which seemed all but over after Perry's victory on Lake Erie Bar recapturing Fort Mackinac but the story of what is an incredible British fight back in what is accurately dubbed the Forgotten war deserves to be told and this book brilliantly brings it to light.
