I was very surprised to see that this book was not already here. It is a book about the Spartan warriors and the Helot people who are their slaves. In the middle of this there are two brothers, one on each side. Full of passion, courage and magic, Spartan is an enthralling novel of the ancient world. It is well worth reading, so are his other books, one about the Romans and the other three about Alexander the Great.
