THE BRITISH AT THE GATES: THE NEW ORLEANS CAMPAIGN IN THE WAR OF 1812

Quite possibly the best account of the New Orleans campaign. Reilly brilliantly narrates how the campaign came about and what happened to the final action at Fort Boyer. The different men from Andrew Jackson/Alexander Cochrane to Wellington's ill-fated brother-in-law Pakenham.
All in all an excellent account.
