Tis book gives an account of the lives of Lord Nelson in his personal and professional life, and proves that you don't always get what want for your dependants.
The combined fleet under Villenue was led by a surviver of the Nile a very careful man and this fact brought the wroth of Napoleon forcing the fleet to sea and the ensuing battle.
The battle was a very close run thing and after Nelson's death Collingworth another careful man suffered a storm and lost many ships and prizes which the people of Caditz helped in saving many lives.
In short a very well researched book with many facts uncover a real insight into a battle which I thought I knew about until I read this book.
