Mr Cornwell, Huge fan of your work, particularly the Arthur books and the thrillers. Whilst you seem to be able to write historical novels faster then I can read them however, the thrillers have clearly stopped. Please, please, please could you create another sailing based modern novel. Your 5 to date were great and surely you could squeeze out 1 or 2 more between the 'weightier' texts. Dear Mr Cornwell, I enjoy reading both fictional and non-fictional books on history and discovered your "Saxon Series" in my local library. I have enjoyed reading them very much. Bernard, I listen to a huge number of you Audio Books & have LOVED the Alfred series, the voice actor for the first 2 was superb, then I hit Lords of the North & a voice actor who is literally the worst I've heard in probably 100 books across a range of authors. He's terrible, actually ruins the book. Please use the previous actor for the remainder, someone who does shout, screech, is comprehensible, and who has some logic to his acting. All the Danes in LotN speak with a Scandi accent, except Ragnar who is apparently a Geordie... love your work & have always loved the voice acting, but this book was ruined.

Hi i have just read 'Sharpe's Siege' and i thought it was excellent. I have seen all the Sharpe films so far that have come out and I cant wait for more to be made. However, reading your book has put a whole different light on Sharpes character because it expresses his thoughts and feelings were as the film can not. I have enjoyed reading your Saxon stories, particularly I have taken great pleasure in working out the name places as given in the book without reference to your index. I was born and bred in the North East of England and Bamburgh Castle is a place I always visit when I return home. I am of good peasant stock and find it so interesting that even now generations upon generations later the old words can still be understood by someone who was born in a small village by the river wear, which just shows how little things change.
